The CAEB machines designed to collect and compact prunings and pruning residues are called QUICKPOWER and are complete cycle round-balers: loading, compacting, binding and unloading.
The Quickpower machines have been designed and manufactured to optimise the energy content of the biomasses.
Compacting in "soft centre" bales enables the air to pass through uniformly and therefore natural drying is guaranteed, preventing the occurrence of moulds and fermentation.
The machines work with narrow or wide between-row spacing, beneath overhead trellises and on any kind of ground (also stony ground) demonstrating their great flexibility and efficiency.
The machines produce bales with a fixed size, and in view of their compact design, the Quickpower machines are also easy to manoeuvre and therefore readily transported by any type of tractor.
We propose a completely natural method to bind the bales (using sisal twine), but we also have available a solution with a special extruded polypropylene net.
Our machines can transport up to 8 bales outside the row (with a 40 cm. diameter and 60 cm. long) simultaneously and with a weight of approximately 250 Kg. In CAEB we believe that prunings represent energy.
Once dried, the round bales produced with the Quickpower can be effectively and rapidly processed using the BALECHIPPER; this machine can shred a 30 kg bale of pruning residues in less than one minute.
The shredded material obtained can be used directly in the combustion plants (boilers, heaters, wood-burning stoves, etc.).
