Mini round baler for haymaking

MOUNTAINPRESS MP 550 is an innovative and one of a kind machine. Thanks to its handiness, reduced height and very low centre of gravity, this machine is specific both for hilly and mountainous areas.

The baler performs the work of pressing hay by rolling it to form cylindrical bales.

This kind of bales are called "tender heart bales", because the bale core is less pressed than the outer part, thus allowing the hay to have an appropriate transpiration and avoiding the formation of moulds. The bale is pressed more tightly on the outer part to obtain an impermeable protective layer.


Hay is pressed without cutting or trashing, in order to mantain its quality by keeping the seeds and the flowers in the bale.
